The Jeffrey Hollis Foundation was formed to educate people and help find a cure for diabetes. We would like to help find ways to improve the lives of all people affected and living with diabetes. Diabetes is claiming the lives of millions of people every year. Not just elderly people but our youth as well. Your donation dollar will not only help discover new ways to defect, treat and cure diabetes. It will help save lives. “OUR MISSION IS TO HELP”.

The Jeffrey Hollis Foundation for diabetes research was formed, because we wanted to make a difference in the world. Far too many of us are dying. Diabetes claimed the life of the late Jeffrey Hollis while he was in the prime of his life at the age of 49, he was a highly skilled actor and writer, with a vision that was ahead of his time. Jeffrey starred in several film and televisions shows, and had a wonderful gift for writing and telling stories. He wrote a powerful screen play and called it “JOSHUA’S SOUL”. His untimely death came about before the project could be made. His younger brother Terry Hollis picked up the script and vowed to see Jeffrey’s vision come alive on the big screen. After many hours of prayer and lots of faith, Terry was able to get “JOSHUA”S SOUL” made. The film is dedicated in Jeffrey honor. To date the film has won awards for Best Urban Drama, Best Screen Play, and Best Directorial Debut at the New York International Independent Film Festival.

We at the Jeffrey Hollis Foundation for the research and cure for diabetes have made a serious commitment to this cause. It has become a life changing experience. We look forward to many more people becoming involved in our journey to help preserve life.
